Three days of travel photography in Toulouse, France

I had passed through Toulouse many times on the way to the Languedoc region of France and never really bonded with the city. Arriving late on Sundays and leaving on Mondays I wasn't seeing the best of Toulouse. That all changed when due to a sporting event I booked a 3 night stay.

 

What I discovered was a the city that is beautiful and vibrant. The people are friendly and interesting, the food is amazing and the streets were alive with markets, musicians and people having fun.

Using Le Capitole as a base I started 3 days of travel photography, incorporating urban photography styles. I visited markets and bars. I photographed in streets and along the Garonne river. Everywhere I looked there were images waiting to be captured. 

 

Toulouse is a street photographer's dream. The images I have selected only scratch the surface of this beautiful city and over time as I revisit I will add more. If you like these images you may like my images of Split, Croatia
