Art Prints

Photographic art prints Inspired by Pop Art and advertising posters from the 60s and 70s, architectural drawings and lino cuts.

I photograph street scenes, architecture and everyday objects to transform into limited edition art prints that would grace any wall.

​

By previsualising the final print I am able to focus on the essential elements of the image and remove distracting or non-essential objects.

​

Each image presents new challenges requiring experimentation and multiple techniques to create the final template. Once I have the template I can start to add colours and shapes to build the final image.

​

Equally important is the printing and paper choice. Every limited edition print is giclee printed on Canson Infinity - Arches BFK Rives 310gsm a heavy weight art paper. I selected Canson after testing several papers from multiple suppliers. Canson Infinity paper is 100% cotton offering excellent archival properties. The paper is made on a traditional cylinder mould machine at the Arches paper mill, one of the oldest papermakers in France.

Central to every photographic art print is an original photograph taken by me. Every part of the process is completed by me and I will not use AI at any stage in the process.  

 

​​Depending on the image they are either issued as limited edition photographic art, giclee printed on Canson Infinity - Arches BFK Rives 310gsm paper or unlimited A4 or A5 prints.
