Travel Photography in Split, Croatia a City Mini Break

​

Split in Croatia has long been a popular destination for tourists and attracts stag and hen parties from the UK. I decided to do a 3 night city break to indulge in some travel photography in Split, Croatia and check out the hype. When I travel to a new destination I do a little research, but try to avoid looking too much at other photographers' images. I do not want to have images that I tick off from a list, preferring to wander and capture what I see.

Walking around the Old Town you are surrounded by ancient buildings, some dating back to Roman times. There are boat trips to neighbouring islands and beaches are a short walk from the Old Town. 3 nights was not enough, but it was the perfect taster trip.

In the selected images above I have added street style, street art, urban portraits and cultural references, together they sum up my short, but exciting visit to this wonderful city.
