Street portrait photography is probably the genre that makes new photographers most nervous. It takes a lot of courage to approach a stranger in the street and ask to take their photograph. There are no 100% guaranteed strategies for getting permission, but some work better than others.

In our Street Portrait Photography Workshop we will discuss the techniques required to get the best street portraits and then we will approach complete strangers and get some street portraits.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to build up a catalogue of street photography portraits, many of the images have been shared and used by the subject on their social media platforms. Many of the 'strangers' have booked photoshoots with me once they saw the images.

Now I am approached through my website and Instagram to photograph in a street style and you could too.

Workshops usually take place in London, but the techniques will work anywhere.
